Consistently voted the best northern racecourse, Newcastle is a pleasantly situated Grade One course to the north of the city, that offers regular race meetings throughout the year. The Bank Holiday meetings always tend to be the most popular as punters throng to the course for some racing action. Newcastle stages races on the flat and over jumps so there is a variety of attractions on offer, as well as the occasional evening event in the summer months. As you would expect, the course has plenty of bars and restaurants on site, and there are amusements to keep the kids happy while parents concentrate on the racing. Conference and corporate hospitality facilities are available.
