Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival and Song Writing Convention plays host to local songwriters and songwriters with specific links to Northern Ireland, as well as attracting some well-known names from further afield. The schedule features five days of performances with around 30 concerts, and a number of song writing workshops. The diversity and quality of the festival looks set to continue in coming years, with the event showcasing more than 100 artists annually. Venues include the Castlereagh Civic Centre, Art College Students Union, Empire Music Hall, Madison's Hotel, King's Head, the Baby Grand at the Grand Opera House and many others.
