The Gründerzeitmuseum, located deep in Eastern Berlin, is a veritable treasure trove of exquisite items from the period of enormous industrial expansion in Germany, known as the Gründerzeit (late 19th to early 20th century). Those on the trail of Berlin's Golden Twenties, as portrayed in the classic film Cabaret, will find what they are looking for here. There is also an exhibition about the Industrial Revolution in Europe.
