Highly pretentious
You may think that you are walking into a classy lounge but surprise... First thing was the cover charge which is truly not a big deal, but indicative of the experience to come. Most establishments worthy of a top-notch rating are not concerned with cover charges. Once past the door hounds, we attempted to get a table. Do not expect to eat after 10PM. We were told tables were reserved, though many (more than 5) tables were not occupied. Another sign of trying too hard to appear as a high demand nightspot (similar to those clubs having a long line outside for appearing to be busy inside). We were placed on the "standby list." We proceeded to the bar. Our bartender, Eric, attended to us after a while. He did make some great martinis. We then decided to make our way to the dancefloor. Very crowded, a good thing because the band was enjoyable. On breaks, the DJ came on... He was definitely on something... Very very very old music. Music made for clientele who played in the movie Cocoon. We went back toward the bar. It was a couple of hours later, approx midnight. Tables were still empty. We noticed a well-dressed older couple standing at a counter with a bottle of champagne in a plastic bucket. Wow! Couldn't management have offered them a table. Again, lack of attention to detail. We tried to get a couple more martinis, this time Eric took his sweet time attending to us. Anyway, NOT RECOMMENDED.

I loved the place!!
What a fantastic experience. It was a Saturday night and the first night of our vacation. Very swank and comfortable at the same time. It gives you the feeling that you are at a private party! Exquisite detail right down to the flowers!! I even got a quick photo with the big man himself. What a vibrant individual!!
