Part of the Hong Kong Trail, the first part of this section is a reasonably-steep uphill path that leads to the Shek O Peak. After that, the walk along the Dragon's Back is an easy amble with magnificent views across both sides of the peninsula. The trail continues on to Mount Collinson and then descends to Tai Long Wan. Shek O is a further 20-minute walk on from Tai Long Wan. Either destination hosts a number of restaurants offering refreshments. This 8.5-kilometer walk takes three hours and is recommended for experienced hikers.
