Whether you call them Latinos, Latino's or Latino's All Stars, they all revere the same thing: real salsa, without distortions, or additions from high technology, such as the music of 70's stars Rubén Blades, Willie Colón and Oscar de León, whose pictures decorate the walls. It also alternates salsa with old-style merengue. Despite the Caribbean element, and the constant dancing, a good dress code is required which adds to the special atmosphere. Ladies get free national drinks from Monday to Thursday, between 6pm and 9pm. And people who part with 10,000 bolivars can enjoy "Tropical Nights" which regularly take place on the top floor, with live music.
