Major events attracting thousands of visitors take place on the Pima County Fairgrounds every year including the Southwestern International Raceway, drag racing, gun shows, concerts and horse shows. The main attraction, however, is the County Fair held every year during April. It's a big horse and cattle trade show, surrounded by all kinds of sideshows and it's especially interesting for kids. Be sure to attend its gem and mineral show or join in its Easter egg hunt. To get to the fairgrounds, go east from Tucson on I-10, then turn south on Houghton Road to Brekke Road.
