This is the oldest running jazz festival in the world, established by Jimmy Lyons in 1958. The three-day event features more than 500 artists performing on seven stages, along with tributes to Louis Armstrong, photography exhibits and an international food and shopping fair. A recently added event is the Golf 'n' Jazz Tournament, which is held on two courses: the historic Del Monte Golf Course and the Carmel Valley Ranch Resort.
