This traditional Fourth of July is thrown at the Monterey State Historic Park, a park known for its beautiful period homes and gardens, a setting that adds to the old-fashioned feel of the festivities. The annual event is held on July 4 in the Cooper-Molera Adobe and the Larkin House in downtown Monterey.
