Good hotel but they nickel and dime you
This hotel nickel and dimes you to oblivion. $10 to use the gym? C'mon guys...how can you call yourself a 4-star hotel by charging for a gym that isn't all that great? Internet is $15 as well. On the plus side, the bed is comfortable and the location is good.

Customer
Location was fantastic and accommodations were adequate. I would not go back because of service and incompetency of staff. I had a company who was paying for the accommodations. They verified receipt of payment three times because the front desk kept telling me it was not received. After I returned home I got a charge on my credit card! They had managed to still mess it up after verification of payment. They would not fix the problem so I had to contact my credit card and the company myself. I am not returning and suggest paying cash and not giving them your credit card if you plan on staying at this hotel.

A great stay
Imperial Club floor room at an excellent price. Clean, comfortable, and the breakfast buffet (included in room cost for club floor) was very tasty (I am a eggs and sausage guy). Really liked the convenient location to Union Square and public transportation. Stayed 6 nights, 3 @$219, 2@259, and 1 at $206. The meeting I attended was at the Hotel Nikko and the meeting room was without problems, and the food service was high quality. I rented a vehicle for 2 nights - selected Enterprise at Fishermans Wharf as they had trucks for $10.99 with unlimited mileage (none available at Enterprise located at the Hotel Nikko); plus, I could park overnight at the Enterprise lot for only 9 dollars - just took the cable car to and from the rental lot. I will definitely stay at the Hotel Nikko again as long as I can get a favorable rate for a Club Floor room.
