On the way out of the city, on the banks of the River Tormes and by the Roman Bridge, stands the only 12th century Mudéjar church in Salamanca. Built in a strategic place -where the Way of St. James meets the La Plata Roman Road-, it's in a lovely setting. The church has been completely restored after being virtually abandoned for some time. Inside the main features are three decorative apses.
