This is a very popular and lively market in the centre of Cardiff. The Victorian facade hides a host of different stalls including a large fishmonger's, several butchers, greengrocers, a cheese shop, takeaway food stands, china, household goods and a second-hand bookshop. Upstairs, there's a good selection of second-hand CDs and videos, two pet shops and a Christian book shop. Browse for a while and soak up the atmosphere. Costa Rica Coffee is also located in the market providing freshly and organic roasted beans. The market is open M-Sa 8a-5:30p, but opening times of individual stalls may vary.
