Headed up by award-winning restaurateur, Phillip Kraal, this is two restaurants in one-a "stroll-in" cafe downstairs and a silver service establishment upstairs. Mock Renaissance-style murals adorn the ceilings in this spacious, modern restaurant. At the front is a small courtyard enclosed by a glass screen-the ideal vantage point from which to watch trams ambling along the Boulevard. Upstairs is all that you would expect from a silver-service restaurant: exquisite food, attentive service. In the few years since it has opened, this restaurant has won several national awards. The food is of exceptional quality, with a wine list to match.
