Since it opened in 1953, the Ricksha Room has gained a reputation as a place to take a date you want to impress, and not only for the decor and ambience. The food is excellent and the service is first class. Even from the outside, this restaurant looks something special. A white wall with the restaurant's name and logo immediately attracts your attention. The interior is soft and gentle with low lights and candles on all the tables setting the mood and barely discernible jazz music in the background. There is a very good a la carte menu that includes pastas and delicious homemade square pizzas. And there are two steak set courses to choose from. There is a full complement of wine to accompany whatever meal you choose and a comprehensive cocktail menu.
