As with any other Goethe Institut in more than 75 countries, this center's goal of promoting cultural cooperation with the host country is realized through various programs and projects. Most of these are free and comprise lectures, seminars, exhibitions, language courses and information services. The resources available include some 15,000 books, videos, audio-cassettes, CDs and CD-ROMs. With a location easily accessible via public transport, learning about Germany (which gave birth to many great names in art, music and literature) becomes widely attainable for the ordinary Filipino.
