An archetypal English pub in the most English of New Zealand's cities, the Bard would not look out of place in Shakespeare's own Stratford.

decor: You might expect this pub's interior to be gimmicky, but surprisingly it is a comfortable and peaceful establishment; its patterned wallpaper, bookcases and sparse Tudor references make it a good alternative to louder and more trendy bars.
