The Brooke Gifford Gallery recently celebrated 25 years as Christchurch's premier contemporary dealer gallery. Located upstairs in spacious rooms, the gallery shows work by leading artists, including Bill Hammond, Gretchen Albrecht, Shane Cotton, Peter Robinson, Seraphine Pick and Richard Killeen. The gallery also has a reputation for encouraging developing talent. Exhibitions change every three weeks and in addition to paintings, the gallery deals in sculpture and original prints.
