One of only a couple of dedicated vegetarian eating establishments in Vientiane, this small but tidy restaurant also features a good selection of herbal teas. It also doubles as a Lao handicrafts store. The colorful menu offers both a variety of vegetarian dishes with a local twist, and tidbits of information like "eggplant helps to balance the heat in your body." Non-vegetarians can substitute chicken for tofu in any dish. It is a pleasant and quiet place where you may choose to eat indoors among the handicrafts or outdoors among the plants (but watch out for the mosquitoes).
