This is a beautiful bay with calm waves that is only a short distance from Acapulco's Costera area. It can be reached by car, taxi, bus or even by boat. Water-skiing and swimming are both common and completely safe, and fish and seafood specialties are available in one of the many restaurants typical of Acapulco. Try some cocktails and ceviches. Water sports rentals for Jet Skis, 'banana boats' and parachute rides, as well as boats that tour the bay, are all within walking distance.
