Beautiful Surf Clean Beach
We traveled to the lagoon via Coyuca, rode across the lagoon in a boat for $20 round trip and had a picnic under the palapas at the very end of Pie de la Cuesta. A cleaner beach you'll never find. You would usually have travel to Pie de la Cuesta by a set bus route from downtown Acapulco. The Coyuca River empties into the lagoon but in the summer wet season overflows into the Pacific at "La Barra". You could travel just 1/2 mile north of Coyuca the turn left towards "La Mora" and arrive at the Pacific just north of "La Barra" and reach a pristine beach as of yet only dotted by small reataurants and devoid of vendors.
