This place is legendary, both for its fantastically eclectic jukebox and its fabulous breakfasts. There's a student-bedroom feel to the decor and the cosy booths get packed with all manner of Bristolians - student chums nursing hangovers, locals and lots of staff from the nearby hospitals. So get here early at weekends if you want to eat sitting down. Believe it or not, there is more to St Michael's than greasy fry-ups, and the menu features baked potatoes and genuine veggie options (including plenty of soya alternatives for those vegans amongst you) but you'll still find the majority of punters scoffing bacon and eggs!
