This is a stylish Merivale bar situated just behind the mall. Atmospheric lighting within the large windows is a welcoming sign of good times inside. Dark leather booths, funky chrome stools and a back-lit bar give Zanzibar an almost retro feel. Its smart interior draws clientele to suit. Weather permitting, the large French doors open to a sizeable terrace at the front. A good selection of New Zealand wines and bottled beers are available. A range of cafe-style food is on offer.
