Completed in 1992, the tower reaches a height of 474 metres, although viewing and other facilities are at 100 metres. It provides a panoramic view of Prague with visibility estimated at 100 kilometres. Lifts take visitors to the viewing areas at 4 metres per second and entry to these areas costs 60 Kcs per person. The air-conditioned cabins house a restaurant offering Czech and international cuisine, all of which are open from 10a until 11p daily.
The tower is within a 30 minute walk of Wenceslas Square.
