This stadium is a home to The Royals, who have a history of success since their victory in the World Series in 1985. The Kauffman Stadium was opened in 1973 as Royals Stadium. Later in the year 1993 it was renamed after the founder of the team, Ewing Kauffman. The seating capacity is of 27,000 spectators, post the recent renovations done. With the latest amenities, the stadium attracts hordes of people for all the popular matches.
