The brainchild of Malaysia's Prime Minister, this prominent, 19—acre landmark is major attraction to visitors disembarking at Kuah Jetty. The centerpiece of the site is a huge and splendid statue of the reddish brown eagle after which Langkawi is named. Hence Langkawi is known as the “Eagle State The tranquility and soft, cool sea breezes make this picturesque spot a great place for leisurely strolls or a romantic dinner in one of the nearby restaurants.
