The Mozart Cinema is barely staying afloat at the moment. The huge cinema complex "Cineplexx" is stealing a lot of visitors from the smaller houses. But the Mozart Cinema is special in its own way. Two small film halls create a very cosy watching atmosphere. Especially the smaller hall of the two, which is, actually, merely a room, is well worth a visit. It gives a convenient break from sitting in an auditorium with more than 200 people. There are normally only four films showing, but these are pretty much up to date. Drinks and snacks are provided by a small bar and the traditional popcorn kiosk. All nostalgic cineasts should pay a visit to this little gem. By visiting, they can support their struggle against the big commercial cinemas too!
