Great indy theatre
The Castro has thoughtful film programming, a beautiful interior (complete with organ and organist!) and better food (and coffee) than your average multiplex. Although most people know well in advance what they'll be going to see, it can't hurt to drop by and see what's showing - it's likely to be intriguing and probably something you won't be able to find elsewhere. They often show documentaries, indy films, classics, silents, cult favorites, etc. and often have live performances or talks to boot. Location is great - right in the heart of the Castro, with many food & drink opportunities after the show.
