Located on a bluff overlooking the Tahoe Commons, this picturesque cabin was built in 1908 by Robert Watson as a wedding gift for his youngest son. The cabin is listed with the National Register of Historic Sites as the oldest home built on site in Tahoe City. It also claims to be the first private residence in the town with an indoor bathroom. Guides conducting the tours are dressed in period costume, completing the experience. Admission is free.
