Metropolis, part of the Kinepolis theater group, was until recently the largest cinema complex in the world. With 24 cinemas, all furbished with luxurious, deep, comfortable chairs and THX sound still makes this the Mecca for movie lovers. It is located just outside the center of Antwerp and in between show times the concentration of car-driving visitors tends to create a bit of a traffic jam. You are advised to arrive on time, buy your ticket and then enjoy a drink or even a small snack in one of the many eateries.
