This old wooden Lao-style eatery is a great place to dine overlooking the Mekong. Sit inside or on the bank of the river where there is outside covered seating. The menu is written in French and Lao and is bizarrely extravagant for what appears to be a quiet spot to eat. It offers pork, beef and chicken in every varied style, seafood, vegetarian dishes and light snacks and soups. Dessert is also an option with sponge cake and syrup. Everything is reasonably priced, including the full bar.
