Better than the original, the UGC Ciné Cité Bercy (UGC Bercy Cinema City) shows even more movies (usually recent ones of all genres and from every country in the cinematic world), in more theaters, in an even more humongous complex (which is fairly attractive) than its big brother in the Forum des Halles shopping mall. The Bercy area is less lively, alas, but there is another difference as well: at the Ciné Cité Bercy, all non-French-language films are shown in their original version with subtitles. No dubbing! This must be paradise. Tickets: are available for EUR7, with a reduced rate of EUR4 for the pre-11a show.
