This restaurant professes to be the oldest restaurant in Central Europe. Established in 803, it may well be justified in its claims. The restaurant is situated in St. Peter's Monastery and serves a mix of typical Austrian dishes and creative specialities like monastery stew and St. Peter's fish. A unique atmosphere and historic surroundings make for a memorable experience, yet the most remarkable of the five rooms has to be the "Richardstube," set in a vaulted cellar.
