Mostwastl is a piece of Salzburg tradition and is well loved among locals as a center of all things gourmet. This is a typical Austrian guesthouse that offers comfortably-furnished rooms, some with four-poster beds and all maintaining a traditional country ambience. For city-hoppers, this is only really to be recommended if traveling by car, unless you don't mind a bit of a ride into town on the bus. Either way, the restaurant with its wonderful beer garden in summer is definitely worth a visit.
