The famous painter Francisco de Goya was born in Fuendetodos, a small village less than an hour away from Zaragoza. His house has been rebuilt and furnished in order to give it the same appearance it had when the painter was born in 1746. Ignacio Zuloaga and a group of Aragonese artists, recognising the cultural importance of the building, purchased it in 1913. Architecturally, the house is typical of the 18th century country dwellings once common in the area. There is a chronological summary of Goya's life, his family tree, and some reproductions of his work on the top floor.Admission: adults EUR 3; students and groups EUR 2.
