Housed in one of Plaza del Pilar's main buildings, this hotel was renovated in 1997. The reception and hall are decorated with antique furniture and details which impart a very homely touch. The furniture dates back to 1900 and is painted black because of a legal decree of the time which imposed greater taxes on unpainted wooden furniture.
Stepping into the hotel, it is hard to imagine the charmingly decorated rooms you are about to come across. If you're lucky enough to get a room with a view onto the plaza, Zaragoza's Ayuntamiento (city council) will be right opposite you.
