This festival is held twice a year, in spring (late March-early April) and fall (late September-early October), to stimulate Myong-dong's image as a leading consumer shopping center. It starts off with a marvelous parade followed by a wide range of events including a fashion show, make-up show, hair dressing show, traditional wedding ceremony, Miss Myong-dong contest, and Korean classical music. There is no admission fee. You can enjoy not only the festival but also buying traditional goods at prices lower than usual.
