Next to Calle Don Jaime I lies this pedestrian square, enclosed by old buildings. It has plenty of trees and is great for escaping from the noise of the city. You can sit in the sun or the shade, on a bench or in a sidewalk café. Beside the square stands the church of Santa Cruz, a baroque building from the 17th century, built on the foundation of a previous Romanesque church. Pardo Palace stands beside it, dating back to the 16th century and with a beautiful patio, now Camón Aznar Museum. After having a drink, you can try some delicious tapas at Juanico's, right there in the square.
