The Mozart sound and film archive is situated in Mozarts house at the Makartplatz, which is also known as the Tanzmeisterhaus. These archives are a part of the Iinternational Mozarteum Foundation and are of interest not only to academics but alsoto those with an interest in classical music. The rather plain entrance to the archives can be found on the right side of the inner court. The employees are friendly and willing to help. There are several places where you can make use of audiovisual equipment to learn about Mozart via sound and film. This should definitely be a stop-off for those that are eager to learn more about the city's most famous son.
