The memorial and adjacent museum for Michael Haydn (built in 1984) can be found in the courtyard of St. Peter's abbey. You can view original images, autographs, early prints and a video on Haydn's life and work. Michael Haydn (1737-1806) was a very important musician at the Salzburg court in the 18th century. There are regular concerts at 5p with young musicians, most of whom are students or graduates from the Mozarteum music academy.
