Located 40 miles south of Marsh Harbour in the dense Caribbean pine woodlands, this protected natural environment is known for being one of the best bird-watching destinations in the entire Caribbean. Over 100 species of tropical birds live in this area. The star of the show is the endangered and vividly colored Bahamian Parrot. Dawn is the best time to catch a glimpse of this rare visitor. Book tours through resorts and other operators in Marsh Harbour. The park is managed by the Bahamas National Trust.
