A pioneering deluxe hotel in Metro Manila, Inter-Continental was known for its coffee shop where life-sized jeepneys were used as dining booths. A six-month renovation in 1993 brought larger guest rooms but diminished the coffee shop’s charm with only miniature decorative jeepneys remaining.
