Geneva's oldest and most unusual pizzeria (opened in 1955). Don't expect your usual Italian-style pizzeria. This restaurant has a slightly baroque touch to it as it is a theatre with pillars and ornate staircases leading up to small "balconies" overlooking the main floor. Even the pizzas here come as a surprise. As highlighted in its advertising campaign, l'Age d'Or takes great pride in concentrating on quality rather than on quantity, and indeed the pizzas are so small, so different from any others and so good that you may wish to order a second one.
average cost: CHF 30
