Every January, the International Mozart Foundation organizes a so-called Mozart Week to celebrate the composer's birthday. This series of concerts covers a range of genres from chamber music to symphonies and, along with a series of lectures and workshops, helps to paint a complete picture of the man and his work. Performers include the likes of The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. Accompanying there is a series of events held at the Mozart Ton- und Filmarchiv, which discuss the topic "Mozart and Film."
