The Edmonton Eskimos play from the Commonwealth Stadium, located just north of downtown and capable of hosting more than 60,000 people. Parking can be tricky unless you get there early; there is a three-kilometre radius restrictive parking area during home events. The Eskimos play in the West Division of the Canadian Football League. The team is a perennial contender in the CFL playoffs, and matches against the arch-rival Calgary Stampeders can be especially raucous.
