This rustic Russian restaurant in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg offers hearty Russian specalities (Pelmini, Bortsch etc.) at reasonable prices. Live folk music is performed every Tuesday evening during the winter, but Pasternak is a special place even without this additional extra. The facade of the building was recently renovated, yet the interior has remained the same-old, earthy and atmospheric-just like in many small village restaurants back in mother Russia.
