Le Chat Noir is a bustling neighbourhood jazz and rock club in historic Carouge. Upstairs is a compact and appealingly run-down bar. On nights featuring live music the cellar bar/stage is opened downstairs. Local, mainly alternative, bands justify the 15CHF entry to the cellar and a tiny dancefloor keeps the ärobically obsessed satisfied. DJs keep the party going late on the weekends. Concerts begin at 9p Tuseday thru Thurseday; 10p Friday and Sat.
