This is the most important theatre in Zaragoza and it is very well located, right in the centre of the city. The most successful theatre and dance companies, both international and Spanish, come to perform in this lovely old building. The famous Aragonese architect Regino Borovio rebuilt the current structure in 1891, and as such it is a good example of the architectural expression popular in Zaragoza at the end of the 19th century.
