Ohio artist R.J. Hohimer brings gritty, smoky and romantic scenes of city nights to life in his colorfully expressive artwork. His gallery is one of the few left on Lincoln Road, the former enclave of art studios and thrift stores that has turned more and more upscale with designer shops over the years. Hohimer characterizes himself as a "jazz artist". His paintings are stylistically similar to folk art, but his favorite subject is the big city, in all its glory.
