This is the building where David Ben-Gurion declared Israel's independence on May 14, 1948. The English text of the document is available at the front desk. The building was restored in 1978, and preserved as it was on the evening of the declaration. Pictures and memorabilia from the event adorn the walls. It is also possible to listen to the original recording of the declaration speech. Upstairs is a separate museum, the Bible House. Admission: USD3 adults; USD2 students; USD1 seniors.
