This is Tel Aviv’s alternative beach, where on a Friday night New Age, hippy types come by the dozens to juggle firesticks and drum in the Shabbat sunset. Situated in a small cove next to the Dolphinarium, this beach has a surfing school and a pub/eatery.The breaker on this beach is one of the longest in Tel Aviv and lots of clambering is needed as there is no smooth path to walk on, just a series of rocks. Many people come to sit out on the rocks at night to ponder or for intimate chats with friends. It is highly recommended to lie on the rocks at night and look back at the lights of Tel Aviv or Jaffa (depending on which way your head is facing) reflecting on the glassy, black waters of the sea.
